My name is Hielke Vermeulen.
I have been going on holiday to Austria with my family for over 20 years. As a little boy I always said: "When I grow up, I'll work as a chef in Austria!"

Proudly I can now say : I have reached my goal!

I completed my training as a chef in the Netherlands. I have been working as a chef-pastry chef in several 4* and 4* superior hotels in Austria since 2011, gaining experience and rounding off my training.

Now it's time to take the next step. I have been the tenant of the Gasthof Post since November 1st, 2022. I would like to lead the Gasthof Post into the future with new, innovative ideas.

Together with my parents and our team, I run the inn and try to do everything to ensure that you have a wonderful and unforgettable holiday with us.
